Graduation Production “Infinite Roaming” of Department of Animation and Game Design of Shu-Te University encounters a sense of inspiration and sparks creativity 111.05.09
[Kaohsiung News] The graduating class of Shu-Te University of Department of Animation and Game Design, Grade 111, produced 39 sets of works based on the theme of “Infinite Roaming” to highlight the students’ creative thinking.

There are 16 animation groups, 22 game groups, and 1 graphic image group. The exhibition will be held at Marble Plaza on the first floor of the School of Design from now until 13th of May (Friday) from 09:00 to 17:00.The opening performance featured the famous FuwaMashu band’s lead vocal Ichigo, who played the role of the most popular virtual host “Houshou Marin”, screening a image video, which excited the audience with screams.

Chang,Chun-Ya, the artistic director, and Chiang, Ya-Mei, the executive director explained the meaning of “Infinite Roaming,” which refers to the four-year period during which the 13th graduating class will collaborate together to overcome the challenges of diving into the deep sea’s bottom to find gems and crystals.

“Game Theory at Christmas” and “Raining Cat” were shortlisted for the “2022 Golden Pin Talent Design Award,” which recognizes outstanding performance in national design contests.The “2022 Golden Pin Talent Special Award” has “Seejiq Bngc” as a finalist.“Lo Fi-a Year To Fulfill My Dream.MP3” and “Fish and Chips” were qualified for the “2022 National Technical Institute Students‘ Thematic Production Competition”.“The Dullahan Project”, “Life Memory”, “Game Theory at Christmas”, “Lo Fi-a Year To Fulfill My Dream.MP3”, “Lighting”, “Raining Cat”, and “Time” were nominated for the 2022 Vision Get Wild Competition.

“Game Theory at Christmas” is a game in which the player must challenge the game’s mission by employing race theory and searching for clues to transport the character “back to the future.”

“Raining Cat” is a 2D hand-drawn animation that integrates the ancient civilizations of the overhead universe with quantum mechanics parallel universe line narrative and story background.

“Seejiq Bngc” is an animation that explores “which side should be highlighted” and “how to pick” between economic development, culture, and the environment.

Lu is an excellent student with good academic performance in “Lo Fi-a Year To Fulfill My Dream.MP3”,” but his parents force him to give up music due to the pressure of further academics. Freesia, an exchange student from the United States, was introduced to Lu by coincidence. Lu traveled to the United States to pursue music and forge her own career, thanks to Freesia’s encouragement.

“Fish and Chips” begins with a food manufacturer throwing out damaged fish and chips in a garbage mountain, setting in motion a series of terrifying adventures in search of the so-called miraculous ingredient “food additive.”

Dullahan, the protagonist of “The Dullahan Project,” is one of the military group’s top soldiers, commissioned by Manju’s village head to battle against mountain robbers.

The “Life Memory” divides human life into four stages: growth, trial, establishment, and maintenance, which correspond to the world and the main character’s four stages. The game’s process generated a diversity of emotional stories and events with the hopes of helping players comprehend some of life’s concepts.

Intelligent humans create the “Lighting,” an artificial sun that solves the problem of artificial sun radiation stimulation.

The tale of “Time Machine” takes place in a post-apocalyptic village where a survivor robot works in a record store, relying on the few remaining power sources to start work in the store until the end of his career.

Others work includes “I Just Want Your Hug”, ” I Believe, I Can Do It!, “The Night Market Stories “, “Cigarette”, “The Legend of Dragon and Tiger in Pond”, “Supreme Masterpiece”, “The Glass doll”, “Eternal Night City”,”Face”,”Always On My Mind”, “The Wind Lion”,”The Wind and the Rain”, “Money Life”, “Meet”, “Aviary”, “Glaze: Mars Arrive”, “Key Element”, “Full Island”, “The Book of Witch”, “Time”, “Ninja Walker”, “Recollect”, “Cockroaches” “System Error”, “Invisible DNA.A”, “GensisX”, “Rainsouls”, “Virus”, “Kinnikuman”, “I heard that I was a hero before I died”, etc.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in the honor of Mr. Brian, Vice President of Fulldot Technology & Design & Multimedia Co. Ltd , Mr. Yuan Hsiang Chu, Chairman of University, Mr. Chen Ching-Yiu, President of the University, Mr. Chung-Ho,Su, Dean of the School of Design, Mr. Lin, Cyun-Chao
, Chair of the Department of Product Design, Mr. Teng, Shu-Yuan, Chair of the Department of Animation, and two instructors, Ms Chang, Chun-Ya, Artistic Director and Ms Chiang, Ya-Mei, Executive Director of the project.

The “Infinite Roaming” off-campus exhibition of “Vision Get Wild” will be held from 18th of May (Wednesday) to 20th (Friday) at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Centrel, South Hall S1. “Young Pin Design Awards” will be held from 1st of June (Wednesday ) to 4th of June (Saturday) at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Centre, 4th Floor, Area R.
