          (4)An internship in Taiwan which has been approved by an authorized central government agency, of which the total length of stay is less than 2 years.
          (5)Permanent residency in either Hong Kong or Macau (time spent in Hong Kong or Macau is not counted towards the 120 days)

        • Unfortunately, you are not eligible to apply to STU as an International Student. As per the MOE Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan, you meet one of the following conditions
          1. Your Permit Certificate of Nationality Loss will have been issued for less than eight years when STU classes begin/the semester starts
          2. You have a household registration record in Taiwan
          3. Within the last six years before the semester starting date, you have stayed in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao or Mainland China for more than a total of 120 days in one calendar year
