【Kaohsiung News】Mr. Chyun-Chau Lin, a second-year industrial design instructor from
the Department of Product Design used VR-wearing creative design as the theme to motivate
students to create ideas and propose 24 conceptual models of VR glasses and controllers
before the mid-term exam. These belong to designing the boldly VR wearing. The student’s
limitless imagination was astonishing.

The instructor, Mr. Chyun-Chau Lin pointed out that with the increasing popularity of digital
technology, the new generation of entertainment habits and virtual reality nourishes personal
touch and imagination. In addition, the idea of real identity provides the design options to
simulate multiple universes. VR wearable devices not only need to strengthen their function,
but personalized decorative effects and wearable features also have a personalized decorative
effects room for evolution. Designers should rise to the waves and make innovative choices
to stay ahead of the market.

Mr. Chyun-Chau Lin further explained that the course enables students to associate with a
switchable digital universe. It is an evolution and development of design concepts and a
practice of their expertise in CMF (color, material, and finishing) to design fantastic visual
and tactile products and extend their imagination to infinity.

Student Huang Yu Lun adopts the elements of mountain, sea, and sky to construct an initial
world and draws users to create their own virtual space. Zeng Miao Xuan refers to the red
stone crab of the Light Encounter game, allowing users wearing the Red Crab VR to enter the
game space and enjoy themselves. Yeh Zong Hua chose the Tamago Sushi as the structure
and then knotted the elastic band with seaweed strips to present the wearing situation, which
makes people smile. Ye Zhi Tong takes the moon as her idea, bringing a sense of science
fiction and mystery, especially using pink to highlight the actual color of the moon,
presenting a different, pink-jumping emotion. Zhang Yong Ying creates the idea of winning
with luck through the features and colors of the traditional Japanese style of the
Fountainhead. Wei Zi Hao uses the characteristics of jellyfish to imitate the texture of
jellyfish through varying thicknesses of acrylic strips to supplemented by laser paper
simulating biological luminescence. The interior part of the product is made of pearlescent
white and decorated with silver and gold color aluminum lines, bringing out an elegant and
technological touch.

Student Huang Bo-Xiang imitates information transmission by using the black line on the
side of the heat sink to create a sense of futurity.
Student Chen Yi Ting reflects the work with the image of squirrels and plants in autumn.
Student Lee Xiao Lan presents the precious blue color of the heavenly butterfly, implying
that the wearer can resurrect in the virtual world like a butterfly.
Student Wang Li-Ling expresses the vitality of life by using microorganisms and bright
colors. Indonesian student Jessica Arlene describes the multiple directions of human
emotions with abstract face shapes and diverse colors.
Student Wang Li-Ling expresses the vigor of life by using microorganisms and highlighting
colors.
Student Shi Yi Xuan presents the theme of wings with blue and yellow colors representing
the freedom to fly in the blue sky and under the sun.

Student Liu You Ci takes the topic of Calcifer in Howl's moving castle and makes the wearer
leisurely tour the storyline.
Student Ko Zi Jing adopts the bionic design of a cat's face to express pride and wildness.
Student Zhen Hui En gives the meaning of justice and helping people with the cat corner of
childhood memories.
Student Chuang Ting Jie divides the waveform in the object with blue and red pink from his
VR wearable design. To produce a visual sense of equality in the design, as getting rid of the
world's inequality.
Student Li Ren Yu uses the surface engraving of the ghost head stripe, the thumb design of
the handle, and the head of the VR glasses, reminding us that having fun should not neglect
healthy. Student Yan Cheng You used Batman's logo as a styling design from the movie "The
Dark Knight". Student Liao Ci Fang creates a cute animal VR wearable design with a parrot
silhouette. Student Lv Zhen Lin's VR wearable is a dreamy, virtual traversal through the
world of fairy elves.
Student Tam Ruo Han's design employs rigid shapes and splashes of colors to form a
mechanical aesthetic.
Student Shih Pinjun's cactus dark green and canyon brown-red express the desire for natural
scenery. Lastly, Students Shao Pin Jia and Lin Yu Zhen present their unique personalized
creations with minimalist or bionic imagery.
